LIBRARY The books are not located at the Museum. However, a list of the books is on the TSME website. Call Gerald Gardiner with your request and he will arrange to have your requested book(s) at the next meeting. The nominal charge per book is still $0.25!
What’s up and coming:
* Parking lot sale: Prior to the meeting we will be having a sale of stuff you wish to move/get rid of. It will be held in the parking lot at the North- East corner of the building. This is a chance to reduce your inventory, and remember, one person’s trash is another’s treasure. So come a little earlier than usual.
Extended Intermission: Our Extended Intermission, which is a part of our 75th Anniversary celebrations, will coincide with the International Meet hosted by the RICHMOND HILL LIVE STEAMERS (RHLS) on July 11 and 12. Their facility is on the west side of McCowan Road, 1.6 km north of the Aurora Side Road, immediately south of St.Johns Sideroad. -10am until about 4pm. Tea, Coffee and pop along with compressed air will be available, as well as lots of outdoor bench space to display the models.
Bring your models to show, run or just to talk about. This is an opportunity to see the steam engines of the many guests who will be attending this two day event.

Russ Milland & Michael Guy of the TRHS showed some photos of the Society’s background and work done on the Roundhouse project adjacent to the CN Tower. Russ explained their connection with the TRHA ( http://www.trha.ca/ ) at the Roundhouse. It was interesting to see historical photos of the various Union stations and the plan for the Roundhouse Park. He also showed the growing collection now residing in the Roundhouse. The turntable is now operating and the 6213 engine will soon be in place.
